While things may be shifting around us, OY’s shared vision and mission remain as solid as ever. We’re still working towards the same goals, and each of us plays a vital role in shaping the future!
Our new central space is here and is a part of our long-term vision to have a permanent space that enables young people, the sector, OY, and its partners to share and thrive. At B5000, we have plenty of space for our work, our partners, and of course the young people we serve. As the space is quite big, it will take all of us to look after it, so please ensure that you follow the guidelines that have been put in place to use the space well. Emma will be sending information about the building by email next week.
A reminder that our working policy states that all staff are to work 4 days in the office/workplace unless agreed by your manager. We support flexible working, and home working, so these requests are role and project-specific. We also love that we gained some new learning from working from home for 10 weeks, and so we would like to keep hold of this learning as we move forward.
B5000
We would like to suggest that if you are only in the office for some of the week, we utilise Tuesdays and Thursdays as the main days for people to co-work. We would also love to introduce a whole team weekly breakfast/lunch, this includes colleagues who do not work in Oxford, and we would love you to drop in now and then, more details to follow.
Online Huddles
These Huddles are for all OY staff and have been used to share updates and information, and to connect us all, especially where we do not always get to see each other across areas.
The Huddle has moved to bi-weekly and is booked in for the next couple of months. Please all join Jodie online for these sessions.
