abandofbrothers, invites you to an Introductory Evening on Thursday 17th October at 7.00pm at Jubilee Hall, 77 Sorrel Road, Oxford OX4 6SH.

abandofbrothers are a community based mentoring organisation for young men aged 18-25 who are in crisis, and possibly in, or at risk of entering, the criminal justice system. We also recruit older men who wish to become Mentors.

They offer them a contemporary rites of passage weekend, followed by a twelve week mentoring programme for the young men, at the end of which the young men’s growth is celebrated in a Homecoming ceremony. They have been working in the Oxford area for the last three years.

Enrolment is open for:
  • Young men (aged 18-25) for our next Quest for Community which starts on Friday 8 November with our three day weekend, and then runs for a subsequent 12 weeks with a one-to-one mentoring programme.
  • Older Men who wish to train as Mentors for Young Men.
  • We also have a limited number of places available for Men from other organisations who would like to work alongside abandofbrothers, and want to learn more about how we support and develop our Young Men and Mentors.
