On the 27th November 150 guests joined staff and members of Oxfordshire Youth, in the magnificent setting of Blenheim Palace’s Orangery, to celebrate the work of the charity in supporting youth organisations from across the county.
The event was by kind invitation of Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, and included entertainment by the Lay Clerks of Christ Church.
A silent auction was also held with lots donated by a host of supporters, including the Oxford Playhouse, Christ Church College, Artist Moyra Bannister and Author Erin Kelly.
The High Sheriff of Oxford, Richard Venables, joined representatives from the charity to talk about the work the charity does in supporting our members and the importance of youth provision in a time of declining funding across the sector.
We would like to express our thanks to everyone that helped to organise the event, to those who donated to the auction and those who kindly donated on the night or afterwards, and of course to all of our guests for making it such a fantastic event. You all helped us to raise over £18,000.
Every penny raised will help us to support youth work throughout Oxfordshire. Thank you!
