We are seeking enthusiastic, committed, volunteers to join Oxfordshire Youth’s Event Organising Committee.

Oxfordshire Youth has supported children and young people throughout the county for over 70 years. In a time of diminishing funding for the youth sector, we now find ourselves looking for new avenues with which to raise the money to support our young people, giving them safe, secure, opportunities to develop, at a crucial time of their lives.

Your role as a committee member will be to work alongside staff and other members in organising events across our fundraising calendar.
We would look to utilise your existing skills, whatever your background might be.

Events already include our annual ‘Blenheim Palace Celebration of Oxfordshire Youth’, and we will be looking to utilise the committee in the coming months as we develop and run our ‘Oxfordshire Youth Awards’ ceremony in 2020.

Your role will also involve finding and engaging new supporters across the county, and in seeking further fundraising opportunities to help support the charity and youth sector across Oxfordshire.

The committee meets for a couple of hours, approximately once a month, at our Headington offices.

Our community is key to the ongoing success of the organisation, and our ability to offer these opportunities to our young people. Without the support of our community, without your support, we simply wouldn’t be able to do the work we do.
