Last week, the Chancellor announced a £500m investment in youth centres over the next five years. While this does not replace the £1bn lost over the last nine years, it is good to see that the Government has started to recognise the value and need for local youth services.

UK Youth has been working really hard behind the scenes trying to influence how this money reaches the sector. They want to make sure that the funding is distributed in the most effective way, to ensure that local grass roots youth organisations are able to access and benefit from it. That’s where you come in.

They are asking everyone in the youth sector to complete a short survey about how you would like the fund to be distributed and what the priorities should be. Please take a few minutes to fill it in and ensure that this money goes to the organisations and activities that need it most.

Take the survey.
