Safe! is holding its accredited Protective Behaviours Foundation Course in Oxford on 8th and 9th October, and there are still a few places remaining.
Protective Behaviours is an internationally recognised approach to building emotional literacy and resilience in children, young people and adults. It is a pragmatic approach to personal safety awareness encouraging empowerment and teaching strategies to counter abusive behaviour. The training will develop helpful exercises and approaches to be used widely in work with all children, young people and vulnerable adults.

- Introduce participants to the principles and strategies of the Protective Behaviours Process
- Demonstrate how Protective Behaviours can be used to develop professional practice, support safer relationships, develop good safeguarding practice, and provide a safe approach to improving personal wellbeing
- Enable learners to achieve an accredited Protective Behaviours Qualification (QCF).
Provided by the national organisation for Protective Behaviours, the course is delivered by leading experts in the field and aims to equip learners with sufficient knowledge and understanding to use the Protective Behaviours Process as part of their professional practice.
This is an accredited course giving participants a foundation level certificate from the Protective Behaviours Consortium.
