As this week is National Safeguarding week we at Oxfordshire Youth thought it was the perfect opportunity, as we do each year, to review our safeguarding policy and take part in UK Youth’s ‘stop, look, listen’ campaign.
UK Youth have set all youth organisations the challenge to:
- Stop what they are doing
- Look at their safeguarding policies
- Listen to their young people and take action
And complete a review on your organisations safeguarding policies.
All staff at Oxfordshire Youth took part in reviewing our policy to ensure that we are keeping in line with local and national policy. This also served as the perfect opportunity to refresh our memories and ensure that safeguarding practice and procedure is at the forefront of all our minds.
