Training

Oxfordshire Youth runs a series of affordable and engaging training and events on a variety of subjects. All are aimed at supporting the sector to provide greater services and opportunities to young people.

From the basics of youth work, including safeguarding, first aid, and DBS checks, to specialist subjects such as understanding young people’s challenging behaviour, mental health, and counselling skills, we help organisations develop and empower their staff for their organisations to strive.

Our Annual Youth Work Conference provides a great space for networking and hearing from key people on a range of relevant, new and emerging topics.

Our full and easily accessible programme of training and events are heavily subsidised for members, check out our member benefits for free offers.

We also offer Food Hygiene as an online course for your convenience. Please contact us for more information. Watch this space for new online course and webinars
