Putting young people front and centre

1 August 2022

After an unbelievable collective effort through the worst times of the pandemic, Oxfordshire Youth’s Youth Awards is a wonderful opportunity to come together – elevating, celebrating and showing the world that young people are valued.

Young people belong in the heart of every community, with their passion, purpose and playful ways of reimagining the world around them. These awards are a massive celebration of their efforts and achievements and can be life changing for nominees and winners alike.

So whether it’s captaining the team, making a big impact like saving the planet, or just making one person’s life better, we will be praising the lot at our all-singing, all-dancing awards ceremony at Oxford’s New Theatre in October.

Planned and presented by a team of young people working with staff support and guidance, this is an event by young people for young people and reflects their spirit, energy and determination.

You can be an important part of this joyous experience by nominating outstanding 8-21-year-olds from your community, performing on the night or sponsoring an award.

Here’s how to join in the fun…
