Become a Trustee at Oxfordshire Youth and join us in shaping a future in which every young person has the skills, support, and connections to thrive.

As a Trustee, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the charity’s assets and ensuring they’re used to advance Oxfordshire Youth’s mission. The Board must always act in the charity’s best interests, exercising the same duty of care as a prudent individual managing another’s affairs.

Trustees hold ultimate legal responsibility for all the charity’s activities. This includes setting strategy, approving policies, and overseeing compliance through robust monitoring and reporting systems. Trustees also appoint the CEO and, on their recommendation, the Senior Leadership Team to manage day-to-day operations in line with agreed policies and strategy.
