Oxfordshire Youth is running a free Digital Futures Workshop during February half term for young people aged 11-21. This exciting, hands-on week gives young people the chance to explore digital skills, try new technology, and learn how digital tools are used in real jobs.
Across the week, participants will take part in practical workshops where they will:
-
Build their own website
-
Film and edit a green screen video
-
Create a simple video game to upload to their website
-
Use VR headsets to create augmented reality art to take home
-
Create and mix their own music using digital audio tools
-
Visit the BMW MINI Plant to go behind the scenes and meet apprentices and senior leaders, learning how digital technology powers their work and how they got into their careers
No previous experience or equipment is needed! Just bring yourself!
